Draw one open line between neighboring dots. Closing a cell claims its territory and lets you draw again. When every line is drawn, the cartographer with the most territory wins. Campaign maps may add neutral lines, prism cells, Echo pairs and Pulse reactions.
Dots & Boxes is a strategy game built from one tiny choice: draw a line between two neighboring dots. Closing the final side of a cell claims that territory and immediately grants another move. A quiet opening can turn into a long, decisive chain.
This Living Neon Atlas edition includes 60 hand-authored campaign maps. Every map has an intentional topology, exact modifier placement, a mastery objective, and a fixed revision. Daily follows a curated rotation shared by everyone that day, while Quick Play lets you choose an exact map from the gallery and pair it with your preferred AI difficulty.
Tap or click any open line between neighboring dots. On a large map, drag to move, pinch or use the mouse wheel to zoom, and use the Fit control to recover the full silhouette. Keyboard players can move between open lines with the arrow keys and draw with Enter or Space.
If a line closes a cell, its territory becomes yours and you draw again. When every available line has been drawn, the side with the greater territory value wins. Prism cells are worth two. Neutral lines count toward a cell but belong to neither side.
Daily disables tools and preserves the exact authored rules of today's map. Campaign chapters introduce one new idea at a time before combining them in the Crown Atlas.
