What we collect

Play works without an account. When you first play a game we create an anonymous player profile (a random identifier) so your scores, XP and streaks can be saved. If you choose to sign in with Google, we additionally store your name and email address as provided by Google.

Game data

We store your scores, play sessions, achievements and leaderboard entries. Display names appear on public leaderboards; you can change your display name at any time in settings.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog, EU-hosted) to understand which games people enjoy and to improve the platform. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Advertising

Play currently shows no advertising. If ads are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated beforehand and consent will be requested where required.

Data retention & deletion

Detailed game results are automatically deleted after 90 days. Anonymous accounts inactive for more than 30 days may be removed together with their data. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
