Emberfall

The last light in the forest

Emberfall is a survival adventure about one small flame in a forest full of shadows. Carry your lantern through four increasingly dangerous waves, gather the embers left behind by creatures, and build a set of powers strong enough to face the Hollow King. Your flame attacks automatically, leaving you free to read the battlefield and find a way through.

How to play

• Move with WASD or the arrow keys. On a touchscreen, drag to move.
• Press Space or tap Dash to burst through danger. You are protected during the dash, but it needs time to recharge.
• Collect glowing embers to gain power and increase your score.
• Choose an upgrade after each of the first three waves. Damage, attack speed, extra flames, health, reach, and slowing effects each change how you survive.
• Defeat the Hollow King in the fourth wave to bring back the dawn.

Find your rhythm

Keep an escape route open. Moving in a broad curve draws creatures behind you and creates room to collect embers. Save your dash for a closing gap or an incoming attack, and watch its cooldown before committing to a risky pickup. Upgrades work together: extra flames can cover a wider approach, while slower enemies give you time to reposition.

A new expedition

Solo mode lets you return to the forest whenever you want. The daily expedition gives players the same seeded challenge for that day. Your score rewards the expedition you complete, and the platform records your best result. Sound adds atmosphere and feedback, while visual effects show the action when you play muted.
